Display Calibration

Your display is only as good as its calibration. Whether you're a Cinematographer, Colourist or a home cinema enthusiast, you need to be confident that the picture that you are viewing is as accurate as it can be. At VUETECH, we bring the same professional standards used in broadcast and film post-production to every display we calibrate — from reference monitors on a film set to high-end OLED and 4K HDR screens in the home.
Here at VUETECH we use the highest standard of calibration equipment, utilising colourimeters from Klein Instruments and Jeti Spectroradiometers to ensure your displays have the highest accuracy the the industry has to offer.
VUETECH has PVA (Professional Video Alliance) certified calibrater giving our clients the assurance that every calibration is carried out to the highest industry standard. We offer a level of colour science expertise you simply won't find from a general AV technician. We understand how display technology, viewing environments, and colour pipelines interact — and we calibrate accordingly.

The Calibration Process
Asessment
We begin by evaluating your display's current performance — measuring white point, gamma, greyscale tracking, colour gamut, and peak brightness. This gives us a clear baseline and identifies what adjustments are required.
Optimisation
We optimise your display's internal controls — brightness, contrast, white point, and any available CMS (Colour Management System) — before applying any external correction.
Display Correction
Once your display has had all of the internal CMS (Colour Management System) fine tuned and has its dynamic range set. We can generate a 3D LUT file to get your display as accurate as possible.
Verification Reports
Once calibrated, we measure and verify your display's accuracy against your target specification, providing a full calibration report including saturation tests, greyscale accuracy, colour gamut coverage, and gamma tracking.
